Templating for New Worktops
We measure and template on site so new worktops are cut to the room as it really is, with out-of-square walls, alcoves and chimney breasts accounted for. Quartz, granite and marble are always templated before they’re cut.
Worktop Replacement
Cabinets still sound but the worktop is chipped, stained or dated? We take the old one off, check and level the units, and fit the new worktop without replacing the kitchen.
Worktops for New Kitchens

Sink, Hob and Tap Cut-outs
Undermount and inset sinks, hob cut-outs, drainer grooves and tap holes, cut to the manufacturer’s templates and sealed against water.
Upstands, Splashbacks and Sills
Matching upstands, full-height splashbacks and window sills in the same material, so the finish carries through the kitchen.

Worktop Materials We Fit
Each material has its own look, upkeep and price. A quick comparison to help you choose:
Laminate
The most affordable option, made in hundreds of colours and wood or stone effects. Light, and cut and fitted on site in a day.

Solid Wood
Warm and natural, usually oak, walnut or iroko staves. Marks can be sanded out and the surface re-oiled.

Quartz
Engineered stone that’s hard-wearing and non-porous, so it never needs sealing. The colour stays consistent from slab to slab.

Granite
Natural stone with a speckled, crystalline look. Very hard and heat-resistant, and no two slabs are the same.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace worktops without replacing the kitchen?
Yes. If the cabinets are sound, we remove the old worktops, check the units are level and fit the new ones on top.
Do you template stone worktops?
Yes. For quartz, granite and marble we template on site once the base units are fitted. The worktops are cut to that template, then we come back to install them.
How much does worktop fitting cost?
It depends on the material, how many pieces and joints there are, and the cut-outs. Send photos or a plan on WhatsApp and we’ll price it remotely. Our minimum project is £1,000.

How do you join worktops at the corners?
Laminate is joined with a mason’s mitre or a joint strip. Stone and solid wood get tight joints sealed with colour-matched resin or adhesive.
How soon can I use the kitchen after fitting?
Silicone around the sink needs 24 hours to cure before it gets wet. Resin joints on stone are usually ready within a few hours.
Do you take away the old worktops?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old worktops is part of the job.
